How to prototype a handbag?
Material selection
Material selection is the basis for bag prototyping. The appearance of each bag style depends on the material used. Material quality, texture and feel all need to be taken into account.

What we need are hardware specifications with the overall shape, the dimensions of each part, such as width, length and thickness. We will make 3D drawings to confirm the appearance and structure, and then proceed to make the correct hardware mold after the 3D drawings are approved.
2D pattern making
Pattern making is the process of creating a bag body "project" made from the outer lining and various parts of the lining of the bag.
Pattern makers need to sketch design lines on paper by hand to the dimensions in the technical packaging and convert them into a series of 2D shapes, which we call open plates, which are essential throughout the bag-making process.
After the prototype is made, a prototype sample will be made. It is a test sample for style and structure inspection, and prototype samples can be made with the right material quality, the right color.
