In October 2018, Chiterion embarked on a significant marketing case by manufacturing durable and recyclable eco T-shirt bags for one of the largest retailers in South America, headquartered in Chile. Our mission was to replace the one-time disposable bags with a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative. These T-shirt bags are exclusively crafted using recyclable PP nonwoven material, aligning perfectly with our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Through the application of our special welding technology, we have created T-shirt bags that possess exceptional strength and durability. Each bag is capable of holding over 20 kilograms of groceries, sundries, and food items, ensuring that customers can conveniently carry their purchases without any concerns. The sturdy construction provides a safe and reliable shopping experience for customers of diverse backgrounds.

Over the course of the following two years, Chiterion successfully supplied over 6 million eco bags to the retailer, making a significant contribution to reducing the consumption of single-use plastic bags in the region. By providing an eco-friendly alternative, we played a pivotal role in promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness about the importance of reducing plastic waste.

One notable feature of our eco T-shirt bags is their leakproof nature, thanks to our innovative welding technique. Customers can confidently place wet vegetables or other perishable items inside the bag without worrying about any leakage or damage. This feature adds a layer of convenience and reliability, making the bags suitable for a wide range of shopping needs.

Furthermore, as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction and safety, we offer an optional 52 Hz alarm tag that can be attached to the bags. This anti-theft feature provides an extra layer of security for supermarkets, ensuring that customers can shop with peace of mind.
