Except for our brand of insulated cooler bags, we also customize insulated cooler bags for different clients all over the world. For customization, normally need to add clients’ logos. So how to add different types of logos to the insulated cooler bag? There are many different methods, like printing, embroidery, woven labels, rubber patches, leather patches, etc. Now let’s take a look at the top 4 ways used in the cooler bag industry.
Top 1: Printing.
- Silkscreen Printing: If it’s a small logo with fewer colors, like one or 2 colors, and only needs to print at one or two locations, then it’s better to use silkscreen printing. This printing method is almost suitable to all types of fabrics. Moreover, it only takes 2-3 days to create the printing film, it’s time effective. However, it can not print logos with gradient colors. Please see the following images for reference of the printing effect:
- Hot Stamping. For smaller logos with gradient colors, the best choice is use hot stamping printing. It’s suitable for PP non-woven fabric, recycled PET non-woven fabric, polyester oxford fabric, nylon fabric as well as PU, and PVC fabric. Printing effect as below:
- Digital printing/sublimation printing. If it’s the full-color logo and prints all over the bag, then we choose to use digital printing or sublimation printing. This printing method is normally only suitable for these fabric which can stand high temperature, such as polyester Oxford fabric, PET or recycled PET non-woven fabric, and poly cotton fabric. Digital printing is normally used for sample processes or small quantity orders, it does not need to set up printing rollers, so it’s time and cost-effective. For big quantity orders, we need to use sublimation printing, it takes 10-15 days to set up printing rollers, so production time is a little longer.
- Rotogravure printing. If the insulated cooler bag is made with PP woven or PP non-woven fabric, and it’s full-color all-over printing, then has to use this printing method. The logos are printed on OPP film and then laminated to the fabric, the printing effect is very good and won’t fade for a long time. It takes 10-15 days to create the printing rollers and there are minimum printing charges, for small quantity orders, do not suggest using this printing method.
Top 2: Embroidery
Some clients like embroidery logos better than printing logos, they think it looks more exquisite and tridimensional. But for small logos with thin letters or lines, which is not suitable for embroidering.
Top 3: Leather patch
Leather patch labels are very popular too. If the cooler bags are made with PU fabric, then the logos can be debossed or embossed on PU fabric directly. Otherwise, the logos need to be debossed or embossed on a separate PU patch and then stitched to the cooler bags.
Top 4: Rubber patch
Some clients prefer to rubber patch labels. The logo is normally embossed on a PVC patch and then stitched it to the cooler bags. The patch can be made with different shapes, like rectangle, square, round, and oval. It also can be customized with different colors.
So, among the above 4 ways, which one do you like the most?
